Is this a bug or am I missing some setting? When I click on the Windows Start icon on the secondary monitor's taskbar, the pop-up is displayed on the primary one. The Tray icons behave normally, in other words, they show up on the proper monitor.

I followed your instructions and the problem went away after DisplayFusion was restarted. I usually am not one crying wolf, so I don't understand. Is there a way to have the log file wrap? I would like to keep the logging enabled but there just seems to be way too much data. If it occurs again I could easily note the exact time and send it. In any case I will repeat the steps should it occur again. Thanks!

That's weird. I was having the exact same problem with the start menu. I enabled important only debugging, restarted the software and it fixed it. Win7 x64. Whatever it was, that did it!
Strange! Sounds like maybe the hooks weren't started. Does it break again if you disable logging?

Actually, it broke after a PC reboot, and the debugging was still active. What would the next step be? I never had this problem until the most recent beta release.
Can you do the debugging steps from post #2 and then attach the logs?
Thanks!

I cleared the log, then clicked the start button on monitor2. The start menu on monitor1 opened. I clicked 2x more to close. These are the log files from that!

For the moment, that seems to work... Downgraded, then upgraded to Beta5 again and it seems to hold through restarts.
Ok, awesome! Please let me know if you do run into any trouble again.
Thanks!

Nope, happened again. I'm going back to Beta4 until we can get this fixed...

I spoke too soon, even the Beta4 is doing it. I went back to the latest stable release and that has fixed it. We'll see for how long, but it should work!
We've just released DisplayFusion 7.0 Beta 6, and this should hopefully be all fixed up now. Please let me know if you still have any trouble after updating.
Thanks!

I'm still having the issue with the start menu popping up on the primary monitor only. Should I include another log?

Odd - I don't have the Beta 7 version - just the straight v6.1.2 and mines doing it.
The times to look for in the attached log is 09:25PM.

@James: It looks like the apphook EXEs are missing on your system. Could you try re-installing DisplayFusion?

Thanks, Keith - that worked.
That's a little disturbing though - how do things like an app's executables disappear?
I can't say for sure, but my most likely guesses would be either a failure to write them during installation/update, or antivirus falsely detecting them as malicious. Glad to hear it's all good now though!

Well, 19 days in, and it looks like you got it sorted out. Thanks again!
Fantastic, glad to hear it!
