When I click my volume icon in the windows taskbar to adjust the sound the window appears in the center of the screen, before displayfusion it would appear just above the taskbar. Is there a fix about this or is it a know issue?

Thank you

I haven't been able to reproduce this issue here. Do you have any Window Location rules setup in the DisplayFusion Settings?

Ok, do you have the "Move child windows to the same monitor as the parent" option enabled on the Settings > Window Management tab? If so, could you try disabling it to see if it makes a difference?

Ok, does this only occur if you click the Volume tray icon on the second monitor with the DisplayFusion taskbar? Or also with the primary monitor/Windows taskbar?

This happens on taskbars on the primary and secondary monitors.

Ok, could you do the following to help troubleshoot further?
  • Enable debug logging on the Troubleshooting tab (set it to Logging: Important Only) and click Apply
  • Restart DisplayFusion
  • Reproduce the issue (please note the time so I'll know where to look in the log file)
  • Attach the %appdata%\DisplayFusion\DisplayFusion.log file to this topic (can be found by clicking the 'Open Log' button on the Troubleshooting tab)
  • Disable debug logging after sending me the log

Thanks!

Thanks! According to the log, DisplayFusion isn't moving the window, so I'm not sure if it's just not getting logged, or if maybe something else weird is going on. If you exit DisplayFusion, does it open in the correct spot?

I ended up figuring out the issue, it was within the AMD Catalyst program and a new feature they added to it called desktop manager. I appreciate all the help, this is an amazing program!!!
