Not sure why, but the taskbar will sometimes stay on top of the windows/desktop no matter what I do. The only thing that resets it to normal is to restart Windows. Very annoying. Closing all windows doesn't help. Uncheck/rechecking "auto-hide" doesn't work, etc.

Anyone know what would cause this random thing and is there a fix? I've exhausted trying things.

thanks

UPDATE: Now, even restarting the computer doesn't help. The taskbar is always on top of everything on monitor #2.

Strange! When this happens, does the taskbar still work (i.e. are you able to switch programs using the taskbar buttons, does the Start menu still work, etc?)

Thanks!
