WSL2 (Windows Subsystem for Linux) is a way to run Linux on Windows. It's GUI is handled by WSLg. These wlgs windows only have some basic widows management abilities like: minimize, maximize, resize. No kind of snapping works, windows mostly don't remember their previous position.

With DisplayFusion I hopped to get some organization mostly to move opened window to specified monitor and to resize it let's say to imitate snap to right half of the screen. But after moving window gets cut off and totally unresponsive and requires that window restart. Only things that might work it minimize and maximize but any moving is nearly impossible.

For testing I used "rviz2" command to run GUI on WSL2 Ubuntu 22.04.

Are there any plans to support WSLg windows?
Many developers use WSL2 and there will be more in the future so supporting it's windows would seem like good adition. But it's unclear if it's job for DisplayFusion or for WSLg to better manage windows.

I've added this to our feature request list. We don't guarantee that feature requests will be implemented, or offer timelines on possible implementation. We'll be sure to let you know if we do add it to our planned features in a future version.

Thanks!
