We're very excited to announce that DisplayFusion 9.5 Beta 2 is now available for download! This version has a few minor changes and fixes a bunch of bugs.

Important Notes!

• The first time you open the Settings > Screen Saver tab after installing 9.5 Beta 2, it will be very slow to open, due to Windows Defender locking the .scr files for a long time during the initial scan.

DisplayFusion 9.5 Beta 2 Highlights

• Change: DisplayFusion 9.5 Beta 2 and higher will require .NET 4.6.2
• Change: When using the "Mirror Window" Function, a red border will be shown around the source window
• Change: Added a new scripting function for getting the list of available DisplayFusion Functions (BFS.DisplayFusion.GetFunctions)
• Change: Added a context menu item and button on the Settings > License Key tab that takes you to the purchase page (Free version only)
• Change: Added a new wallpaper Image Info tag for monitor ID (<wp-monitorid>)
• Fix: Appropriate taskbar elements flipped to black when Windows 10 Light Theme is in use
• Fix: Resolved issues with Brave web browser middle-click and dragging
• Fix: "Minimize Window to Tray" Function no longer affects the desktop window
• Fix: Clicking the Settings button for screen savers now works as expected instead of previewing the screen saver

• Fix: DisplayFusion no longer causes Task View to hang in Windows 10 German
• Fix: Enabling the "Disallow TopMost Calls" Advanced Setting should now resolve any issues with windows not focusing properly when using left/right side taskbars
• Fix: Resolved one instance (not all) of "Failed to call SetDisplayConfig" error when applying Monitor Configuration
• Fix: Resolved a few issues with taskbar button icons for Universal apps
• Fix: Using Shift as a modifier on the key combination for the "Maximize Window" Function no longer overrides splits
• Fix: Winamp "Cubicle Client" plugin will now get a taskbar button on the multi-monitor taskbars

Updating DisplayFusion

• The monitors are powered on and set to the correct inputs. You can usually change the input using a physical button on the monitor. TVs and monitors connected via DisplayPort will "disconnect" from the computer when they're powered off or set to a different input.
• The Windows display settings. Do all of the monitors show up there? If so, please send us a support request using the Help > Support Request button in DisplayFusion.
• The video card drivers are installed and up to date. You can usually get them from the NVIDIA or AMD websites, or from the website for the manufacturer of your computer.
• The cables. Make sure they're plugged in tightly, and if that doesn't resolve it, try swapping them for other known good cables.
• The computer. Connecting the missing monitor to another computer.
• The monitor. Swap the monitor with another known good monitor.

• Try switching inputs on the monitor. This is usually done with a physical button on the monitor itself.
• Get up close to the monitor and have a look at the screen. If you can see a very faint image of the windows on the monitor, it's most likely that the backlight in the monitor is broken. In this case, the monitor will appear normally to Windows, but without a backlight, it's nearly impossible to actually see what's on the display.

• We've made a change to how refresh rates are set with Monitor Profiles. If you run into trouble with your profiles after updating, you may need to re-save them.
• WallpaperFusion is now limited to slideshow intervals of 15 minutes or higher to reduce costs.

• Fixed a couple of Chrome issues with Monitor Splitting
• The "Mirror Selected Area" function now works correctly when run via key combination
• Updated Google Photos wallpaper source to the new API, as the old one is shutdown
• Added search support for WallpaperAbyss wallpaper source
• Fixed an issue with Image Info when using tag
• Fixed the filter box in the WallpaperFusion tag selector
• Using "Move Window to Next Monitor" on Remote Desktop windows now moves the connection bar as well
• Fixed an issue where some refresh rates couldn't be set, note that you may need to re-save your Monitor Profiles.
• Resolved an issue where Monitor Configuration wouldn't apply on some systems (including VMware with guest 3D acceleration disabled)
